With Liberty & Justice for All

With Liberty & Justice for All explores the stories that have shaped the American experience, asking what those words truly mean, and for whom. Through music, narration, and multimedia, the program reflects on founding ideals, immigration, and the ongoing pursuit of freedom for African Americans. Featuring Damien Geter’s 1619, incorporating the text of the 13th Amendment, the performance also includes short video reflections from the Singing City community. Together, these elements create a powerful, shared dialogue between past and present, offering a moving choral commentary on our nation’s evolving promise.
