“Mozart & Friends”
This evening of chamber music will feature the music of Mozart, his contemporaries, and modern composers who have felt his influence. The program will open with Jean Françaix’s Mozart New Look. A now-obscure contemporary of Mozart, Vicente Martín y Soler will continue the program with Divertimento No. 2 in B-flat. Experience Ivana Louodová’s modern take on Mozart with Don Giovanni’s Dream. The program will conclude with selected movements from Mozart’s masterpiece, Serenade No. 10 in B-flat, “The Gran Partita.”
